Eliza is so much fun lately. She just has a happy go lucky personality (unless Isabelle takes something from her.) She makes friends with everyone...she spends all her time when we are out trying to get people to notice her so she can show off to them! Today we were rushing around to get out the door and she comes prancing in (that is the best description I have for her walk) and hands me her soaking wet blanket??? Never a good thing. You know the only water she can get to is toilet water. Sure enough I got in the guest bath and opened the toilet, gave her blanket a bath and closed the lid again (and got water all over the floor too!). Isn't she cute. So I had to do emergency laundry and find a back up blanket!

Here are some of our pics of our fun time with Hudson. He got tons of hugs from both the girls. Isabelle and Hudson had to sit right next to each other to watch cartoons! The other picture is when they were quiet for a min and I went in Hudson room for the day and they were reading his bedtime books....I snuck in and took their picture...Hudson knew he was caught...Isabelle was to into Thomas to notice!!! I just love Hudsons look!

Chloe is here!!!!
Right I know...read any other blog and you knew that already! We are so excited to have her here healthy and happy of course! Isabelle is really excited about her and talks about her all the time. On Sunday she spent a good part of lunch petting Chloes hair (she was really blessed with beautiful hair!) and staring at her. Not sue if Eliza has noticed her yet! Chole is going to be a great addition to the family. Congrats VanLohs!
***ok so I keep trying to upload her pictures and it won't let me...so some Chloe pictures to come!

Surprise!!!
We (Cara's friends from way back...and they included me!) threw Cara and Miss Chloe and small baby shower this weekend. I think we got her because she even cried. If you know Cara you know it has been a full time job for me to keep her distracted and not on to us! But in the end it was worth it, it was a beautiful shower and a lot of fun!
Now there is nothing holding her back...so maybe she will make an appearance early...right Cara?!?!
Surprising Cara!

The family came over for cake and lunch afterwards to help open gifts....which by that point she was getting very good at. She even have Mimi and Papa in town so it was a fantastic birthday...plus it was so fun to see how excited she got over every little thing!
Helping Decorate her cake!

Blowing out the candles!
Eliza sharing her cake (yes I made it egg free...I have learned my lesson!)
Hudson the reluctant pirate!
Isabelle the serious princess!

Yesterday she just let go of the couch and walked into the kitchen no big deal and then wouldn't go it again all day. Then right before bed started walking again. So who knows how long she really could of walked if she wanted. :) Whatever the case I am happy..she was getting heavy ( I know I am a wimp!) She still much prefers to crawl but at least we are closer to the day she will walk around...I am just going to enjoy this not fast walking phase!!
Her other new thing is now, whenever she has a dirty diaper she just crawls off into her room and waits for you to come change her diaper. Its too funny. I will be looking for her and there she is sitting in the middle of her room waiting to be changed! Do you think this means she will be easy to potty train!!!!! Ha right!

Isabelle is now a ballerina! We had our first day of ballet last week and she loved it!!! All the other girls we naturals...perfect tip toes...then came Isabelles turn :) She just stopped he little flat feet up and down the floor! Poor thing takes after her father! She did however come home and practice all night and now she has master the "tip toe". Who knew you could be such a driven ballerina at this age!

After recovering from Eliza birthday if was time to celebrate mine...and mother's day.
I got to go to IHOP for my birthday (the best restaurant ever!!!) and they took the kids to the fountain to play
I love this picture of Hud..you can guess what happened next!!
My cousin Erin was even her to help celebrate!!!
This is a funny picture of Daniel helping to get Eliza ready...she thinks its funny too!!!

This is the very fun ring I got for mothers day..expect it says Isabelle and Eliza :) I love it!!!
Lets begin with Eliza's birthday.....oh where to start!!!

I had this whole big day of fun planned...but a short run down the day began with Isablle throwing up in the kitchen sink and Daniel coming home from work at 7am sick. So with Daniel in bed and Isabelle feeling better we took Eliza to a birthday lunch and Isabelle made her a cute dog at Build A Bear. So then we had to skip our dinner plans because Eliza woke up from her nap with a 102.5 fever. So off to the urgent care at 8pm to get the odd diagnosis of laryngitis?? Uh?? We got home at 9:30 and I made poor sleepy Eliza eat a cupcake...i couldn't let the day pass with out one :)
A few days later was the party :) It was a flower theme brunch...perfect for her spring birthday. Well all was going great until she ate her birthday cake and had an allergic reaction to it. Yes you read that right! Daniels cousin Greyson was the hero of the day. With all the moms and grandmothers around he was the one who pointed out...she was looking really red. So we stripped her bathed her and gave her a mega dose of benadryl. Not how I pictured her first birthday going...but looking back I should have expected nothing less. All in all she did have a fantastic birthday and we are now officially allergic to eggs :)
The Cake.......
Her Birthday Outfit
B.C Before Cake
D.C During Cake (good thing she didn't really dig in!)
A.C After Cake!!!!!

Here is how the party ended :)
She had a great birthday filled with lots of fun, love, family and...drama. Her Birthday was the icing on the cake for her first year...literally...we will get to that!
Here is how the party ended :)

Tomorrow is the big day...My Eliza love turns 1!!!
I would say I can't believe it but really I can't believe she is only one...it seems like she has just always been apart of the family.
Considering the past year with all of its "ups" and "downs"(yes every pun intended)...tomorrow is a big day!!!

Do I have any readers left????
March was a busy month...I didn't realize how busy until I started to put this together.... Here is a quick recap of March (please do not bring up that its almost the end of April at this point...I am getting there!)
Here are my little girls dressed up for Easter. It was Elizas first Easter and she was cute as ever in her little pink dress and had lots of fun playing with the empty eggs after Isabelle cleaned out the candy!
As I have come to learn here in Houston March is Rodeo month. And as a side note....Go Texan day is a day to dress up like a cowboy not wear Texan (as in the football team) attire. They need to explain this better to non Houston natives!!! Here are our pictures from the Rodeo and Isabelle dressed up for Go Texan Day...as you can see she loved dressing up!!!

The Woodlands has the best bluebonnet fields...I got really lucky and they both looked at the camera...I have come to find out it is next to impossible to get to kids to look at the camera at the same time...let alone smile!
Isabelle had her adenoids removed in a day surgery at Texas Children's. It went really well and they said her adenoids were as big as they could get...she was breathing 100% through her month. This had really helped our runny nose issue over there! The nurses kept laughing at her because she was so excited about the "new clothes" they brought her to wear!!
Isabelle had a blast at her Easter party at school. They had to do the egg hunt indoor because it was raining and as she came running in the room all I heard from her was "hurry hurry" Let just say she knows how the Easter egg hunt thing works! Eliza even made a friend :)
Oh and during all this we managed to buy a new house! I was tired of driving back and forth all the time so we took the plunge and bought a house in the Woodlands. And with gas so high it wasn't a moment to soon. I am sad to leave our fun house here and Isabelles preschool (which Daniel laughs at me for!) but I know this is the right move for us know...so watch out Woodlands her we come.
We closed on the house last Monday and move Tuesday of this week so I will post some pics of the house as soon as we get the computer hooked up. (really!) We also have a contract on this house which is a huge blessing but I am really nervous about it...remember our deal in Corpus that fell through 2 days before closing...lets all pray for smooth sailing on this one!
