Eliza is growing up so fast! Things go by much quicker with #2 I am learning. Just this past week she has started all the fun babbling...like dada and baba and she is a big fan of papa! She now pushes up on all fours and can crawl...but her transmission is stuck in reverse...she only goes backwards. But I am sure we will be going forward any day now! The major problem is she practices her crawling and pushing up all night long now....so there hasn't been much sleeping for us the past few nights! Oh and she had her first allergic reaction. That was fun. But it just took her a couple days and she was all clear! We have our 9 month checkup next week. I can't wait to see where she is at! Her are some fun pics of her..and a hive one too!

We had an awesome time in Colorado and Christmas in Tyler.. I promise to update with lots of pics soon!

But I just had to share my lastest Isabelle comment. Last night Isabelle finished dinner before us an was wandering around playing. Well she brought her playdoh over to me and drooped it down the arm of my shirt. She then proceeds to try to put her hand up the bottom to find her playdoh. She stops and looks and Daniel and I and says.....(remind me that I love her right?!?) "Mommys tummy, Hers Wiggle Wiggles" yes that is a direct quote. WHAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.
And that was the end of my dinner.

Colorado or Bust!

Isbelle can not wait to go to Colorado. She talks about it all day nonstop. She talks about how she will get to wear her coap (coat!) and hat, see the Mountains and snow. I am not to sure she really knows what snow or the mountains are but she talks about it allllllllllllll the time! Last night she told me she was going to bring her bucket for the sand...again not sure she is 100% sure where we are going! My favorite is if you ask how we are getting there she says...."two looooooooooooooooong days in the car" again not sure she know what that means either. These are the pics of her wearing her coap and hat day the other day. I know it looks like a dress on her but its a coat! Also we have matching boots which she thinks is great too. Only a few short days and we will be there...Can't wait!

Just to clarify......

Last night I went to buy some new boots to take to CO and when I was leaving I told Isabelle where I was going. Now today she is walking around saying....Mommy got new boobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So if she tells you this and you know she will at some random point months from now...I got BOOTS!

Have I mentioned we are potty training! One day I told Isabelle I would give her a candy if she went potty. And that was that. She has only had a couple accidents (one when I put her in time out...she knew what she was doing!) and even goes at school and when we are out!!!! But I still think I like diapers better..sorry its the truth! Public restrooms are nasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only problem is Isabelle has learned how to manipulate the potty system. Lets just say she get the most candy possible in a day :)

These are some cute pics of my girls and their daddy! Eliza hates the flash if you can't tell!

Isabelle has her Christmas party at school today. It was lots of fun cookies, juice, and crackers...her dream come true! Eliza even dressed up for the occasion :)

We got to have Breakfast with Santa the other day at our neighborhood clubhouse. You would not believe all the people that turn out to see Santa. I love the picture of them on Santas lap...Eliza wouldn't stop rubbing her head on Santas beard!!!! Even Isabelle was trying to get her to stop! We ate pancakes, decorated cookies, and Isabelle even had her face painted for the first time! She wasn't to sure about Santa at the begining of the Christmas season..but now she is a big fan!

A few weekends ago we went to a parade in Market Street with some friends. It was great fun... it was a parade of just horses and ponies pulling carriages and wagons all decorated with lights!

My Eliza is a big girl now! Shes a little over seven months old and as of today was 17lbs 13oz! So with her being that big its officially time to move to the big girl car seat! No crawling yet..unless backwards counts. She tries to pus up on all fours but only moves herself backwards. Its fun to watch as she moves farther and farther away from what she is trying to get...but she doesn't find it very funny! She has two big shiny bottom teeth and is working on a top one! She such a good sitter up we have let her just sit in the bathtub for her baths the past few nights! And let me tell you...she loves bath time! She is also very into screaming...all day and even better if your feeding her! She did come down with RSV of course but did really well with it. She has a cold now....lets just hope it clears before or Co trip!!! Oh and we had her baptized over Thanksgiving...it was very last min so it was a very small event but big for us. The thing is that she was so last min (we didn't know is she would be well or not) that he name wasn't in the bulletin and we have never received her baptism paperwork...so I am afraid even the church doesn't know she was baptized...so we may have to have a redo...can you do that?????

Ever heard of RSV...trust me you don't want to!

Isabelle has RSV and now my little Eliza is coming down with it. Its a nasty nasty virus that attack the lungs and is really bad to the babies. So we are do the best we can to get through it times 2! There is nothing to treat it just breathing treatments which Isabelle hated at first but is doing much better with. Its just heartbreaking she will start coughing so hard and in the mist day mommy medicine please. Poor baby.

I am very quickly running out of things to keep and normally on the go 2 year old happy inside all day. If you have any great ideas pass them on. I tried talking them for a walk today which backfired quickly! It was very embarrassing passing people with two screaming kids! My favorite part was half way into the walk when Isabelle said "where did my TV go?" This tells you we have been watching way to much TV!

Anyways add just to your prayers that Eliza can kick this quick, that Isabelle continues to get better and that I someday will be able to leave my house again!

Well October was a fun filled month! First the pumpkin patch, then fall carnivals, and we finished it out with Trick or Treating. Isabelle found her new favorite activity....trick or treating! She was really good at it!

Well I hope this video works. Its not the most exciting video but its my first attempt!

Isabelle had her first slumber party of sorts! Her friend Elizabeth spent the night since her little brother had to have surgery. So everyone went to bed great and Isabelle was so excited to wake up to a friend. We went to playgroup (yes I got out of the house with 3 kids!) then came home and played in the pool and Isabelles kitchen. They did great!

My little Eliza is getting so big too!!! She is now almost 5 months old can you believe it! At her 4 month check up she was 13lbs! She has made it all the way to the 25% which is up from her 10%! She is my talker for sure. She is always making noise of some sort. She is sleeping 12 hours at night. Which is awesome. She found her thumb and it has been great sleeping since then. My new worry is that she is not rolling over. You know I must always have a worry. So lets all pray she rolls over soon so I can stop stressing about it. She still doens't laugh much but I know she can, so like the Dr. told me its just a personality issue :) We went for a follow up with the neurosurgeon and he said he thinks she is doing well, but he wants us back in 6months for some more Xrays. So I didn't get the great warm fuzzys I wanted but I think she is doing wonderful!

Miss Isabelle is getting so big! She is so much fun right now, and by right now I mean this week! the past few weeks have been pretty rough I think because she is getting 8 teeth right now, but for whatever reason she decided to go back to sweet Isabelle this week!

She can now sing her ABC's all the way though and count to 3 (and know what it means!) I am so proud. You know how I say she is really Cara's kid well its true she loves to sing like her Aunt. She sings all day. She sings the ABC's, the Itsy Bitsy Spider, Ring around the Rosies, all the songs from swim class and my new favorite...she sings "This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and me glad in it" you know that song...she loves it! She calls it the morning song her versions skips a few words but is basically This is the day, Rejoice be glad :) Its so sweet! Oh and don't forget Happy Birthday we sing that ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL DAYYYYYYYY. The other day she was singing it to her Peanut Butter and Jelly!

Ok one more cute story and I will move on. We took her to Build a Bear the other day because she has been so good. Well on the way home she was talking about how the bear was going to take a nap and then we hear from the backseat her saying her prayers with her bear!!!! It went like this Dear Gawd, Mommy, Daddy, baby,....a bunch on mumble, and a loud AMEN! It made us smile all day. Daniel says her prayers with her each night and they do the whole God bless (insert entire family, you know my through husband) so thats why she was just listing names I guess she already knows God knows the desires of your heart!!!!

I am behind on blogging again...go figure. I know I will get better at it someday. So stay tuned for all my catch up post!

Isabelle started her 2nd year of Mothers Day Out (MDO!) We changed to a new school which she is loving, not that she didn't love the other.

Her teachers are Ms. Angela and Ms. Lana so Isabelle refers to them as Ms. Ana. Clever isn't she!

Here is her picture from her first day of school last year and this year. I can't believe how big she is getting!

Ok so be prepared for a lot of blog reading. I was a little behind on all my updates but I think I am now caught up! Things have been a tad hectic.

So for all those that don't know yet. Friday was the single worse day of my/our life and I hope it stays that way and I never have another day like it again. It started off with Isabelle having a stomach bug and Eliza going through a growth spurt meaning she wanted to eat every 10 min and Isabelle was going to the bathroom every 10 min. (In retrospect this was nothing but at the time I was stressed!)
Then about 9 that night we had a horrible freak accident at the house with Eliza falling on the ceramic tile. A sight and sound I am struggling to get out of my head. We ended up calling 911 and we were rushed downtown to the Trauma unit at Memorial Herman. After a CT scan they determined she had a skull fracture and what looked like a small amount of bleeding so we were admitted around midnight. So we spent a very restless night waiting for a pediatric neurosurgeon to come meet with us. Once we meet with him we were very blessed by having all our prayers answered from the night before. He said it was a small fracture in a part of the brain that while not unimportant was not a vital part....... meaning no worries of cognitive problems...... and what they told us the night before was bleeding was really a bruise. Who knew I would ever be thankful that my child had a brain bruise. So after a few more test and xrays we were released late Sat afternoon. God was definitely with us and looking after our precious angle that night and we are so grateful for all of our family and friends that were praying for her that night!

So we are still in a little shell shock over the whole thing. It was like a bad dream you can't wake up from. We spent Sunday pretty much hugging her, holding her, and kissing her until she was annoyed with us!

Isabelle got her two year old pictures done when Hudson did and lets just say he is a much better model then Miss Isabelle. The wonderful people at the picture place were able to get some really good shots of her though. I was more than impressed given her nature to run away every time they tried to get her picture!
