WHERE DID MY BABY GO?????????

So overnight I went from having a baby to a toddler. She is looking so grown up to me these days! We have started pulling her hair back because it was getting so long that she would blow it to keep it out of her eyes.

She has started saying HI. Thank God we finally have a word. So she says hi all day long and half the time waves too. I went to the library to rent her some videos the other day and we had to leave because she kept saying hi to everyone there!

I was getting so frustrated with her for not walking and then tonight she basically walked across the room so maybe she will be a real walker soon! She is just a lot to fun right now, I think if babies were born at this age I would have 10 :)

And if you can't tell from the above picture...she loves her cousin Hudson. She gets so excited to see him!!!!

First off Miss Isabelle has started to walk. Ok she can only take maybe a step or two at a time but we are getting closer :)
The pictures are from our day at the Astros game. Isabelle had a blast, she was clapping and waving her hands the entire time! She even made friends. The lady behind us went a bought Isabelle a stuffed animal flower for her to play with and wave during the game. I wish I knew how to get strangers to buy me gifts :)

The simple things :)

Isabelle can eat a cracker all by herself........Let me explain. If I give her a whole cracker she will take a bite, eat it, then take another bite and so on. This is big for me. I have been having to break everything even crackers into small bits! I will keep doing it with the food, though. The best thing was yesterday we went to the grocery and Isabelle just sat in the front eating a cracker and drinking her juice! Who knew I would be so proud of someone for eating a cracker!

Ok so after a LONG break I am back at the blogg thing! Isabelle is one!!! She had two parties...lucky girl. As we found out she doesn't like vanilla frosting...but LOVES chocolate. She just played with the vanilla, but inhaled the chocolate :) Smart girl!
She is standing on her own but is not walking yet, hopefully we are getting close. She is still not talking and if you know me I am stressed beyond stressed about that but I am trying to relax some. Hopefully we will have some words soon or I will have a nervous breakdown. Really :)
She has a new cousin who she is very proud of Mr. Hudson VahLoh (born 7/12 8lbs 11oz), she always wants to touch him but at the last min gets scared and pulls back!
We have had Roman staying with us this week and she is in love. She chases him all around the house laughing. The good news is he has only tried to bite her once..and it was all Daniels fault! (Don't worry we are not trying to take him back!)
She is also fighting her first ear infection. We made it all the way to a year without one, not to bad!
So anyways I will start up dating this more with all her cute stories...Which I know you have been dying for!

Yesterday I took her to the grocery with me, and she decided that she really enjoyed the "throw your toy over the cart game" So after a very frustrating trip we were checking out and as I am unloading the basket I hear this awful racket. I look up to see Isabelle taking cans off the conveyor belt and throwing them on the floor. The checker just looked and me and said "she is really into things?" Yea thanks! I thought they were supposed to start this until 2 or something.

Update on us...we are in the new house...and still own the old one. The deal on it fell through at the last min and I am so stressed about selling it...I had nightmares about it all night last night. So please pray it sells fast. Daniel wrecked his car but it is well again. Long story short it has been a very stressful past few weeks but we are loving the new house. It amazing. I will have to get some pics and post them.
Isabelle-to add to all the drama of the past few weeks she has been sick. First a UTI (didn't know kids got those!) and now a cold. But she is cute as ever. she has started nodding at everything. I am not sure if she understands exactly what she is doing...but its cute! She is also blowing raspberries constantly. She loves to play the back and forth game where you do it and then she does...but her favorite is to do it right after taking a bite of food or a sip of her bottle. Daniel is not impressed! She still only has two teeth. She is now pulling up on everything and walking along the furniture. She let go the other day and stood there for a few seconds but I don't think she knew that she was because she hasn't done it since.
Yesterday was her first pool day. She loved it. She kept getting mad because we wouldn't let her go in the water. She had a little floaty and was able to walk with it in the shallow water. Lets hope that didn't teach her to much. But she managed to find a rock by the splash pad and put it in her mouth...just to give her father and I a heart attack. And she waves at everything and have I mentioned she gets into everything!!!! We are having so much fun with her...its such a fun age!

Sorry for the lack of updates, things have been rather busy with the move and all. My bet is not to many people still ready because I haven't updated in forever but here I go. Isabelle is getting so big I can't believe it. They really do grow up to fast...our parent were right! She is pulling up and standing, babbling a little, and waving to anyone and everyone she sees. I promise to be much better about updating once we are settled in the new house...Next Thursday!!!! But here are some pics to hold everyone over!!!

Wow sorry for the lack of updates. Things have been crazy. We are finally in houston living at the Almans until our house sells and guess who got super sick...not Isabelle ME! I have a sinus infection and an ear infection (I didn't know 25 year olds got those still) I haven't had a voice since Sat....but I think I am starting to get better. Anyways enough about me. Isabelle is getting so big!!! She has two teeth now and they are so cute. She is starting to pull up on things and is even feeding herself finger foods. These are all big deals to us first time parents! I will try and take some pictures and put them up tomorrow!!!!

Have I mentioned how much I hate teething :) She has good days and bad days. So I guess it could be worse. She is really getting good at the crawling thing! Today I have her on the floor of my closet while I was getting dressed (I had to put up all the "toys" that contain a baby so the floor was my only option) anyways she tried to pull up on the laundry basket and then latter when I was playing on the floor with her she tried to pull up on me. The fun is beginning!!!
Today I had about 30 realtors file through the house in a whirlwind. I was really looking forward to hearing comments on the house, but I only hear a few because they were all talking about Isabelle and playing with her. Its really rough having a cute baby :)

First off sorry for the lack of updates...things have been very hectic here. Its amazing how fast things can change! We found out we are moving to Houston. Its an answer to prayers for sure and we will be there March 6th...soon!!! Daniel has given notice at work and the for sale sign is in the front yard...no turing back now!
But more importantly little Isabelle is changing so fast as well!!! Since I last wrote she has a tooth coming in!!! And Sunday she pushed up on all fours and today she has been pushing up on all fours and rocking back and forth. I think its only a matter of days until she crawls...and then we are in for big trouble!!! She is loving "food" all that is except for peas! She is starting to become a little concerned with strangers! The realtors took her off to show off to others in her office and Isabelle looked scared to death when she got back in the room. The realtor said she was very somber when Daniel or I weren't there! And the other night a waitress started talking to her and she first tried to hide behind her hands and then when that didn't work she just screamed! But she is a lot of fun right now!!! I have included a few pics of her pushing up :)

Sorry for the lack of updates...this week has been so busy! Isabelle had her 6 month check up on monday and she passed with flying colors. She is now 15lbs and 9oz and 26 1/2 inches long. She is a 50 percentile baby. It took a lot of work to get to 50!!!!
We are still trying new foods. She loves bananas and sweet potatoes...but is really not a fan of the peas and I haven't even tried the apple juice again. The Dr. said I should start giving her meats but I haven't yet.
I have been trying to get her to start babbling. Which means I try babbling at her. I just sit there going mamamama dadadadadad...and guess what she does. She starts laughing...every time. Oh well. She has really been into laughing. She just starts laughing at anything. We were in church last sunday and she just starts laughing during the sermon. I found it funny too :)
Ohhhhhhhhhhh and get this. (ok its about poo...so if you really don't want to know stop reading here!!!!) Remember from before how every time I got in the car she would go, and then everytime she was in her swing she would go....well know every time you put her in her highchair she feels the need to go. She is soooooooooo strange sometimes.....Every single day when you put her in there she goes and since I feed her twice a day she does it twice!!!!!! And I hate changing dirty diapers so this is not a good trend for me!!!
Other than that things are going really well...she is at such a fun age...I am having a blast with her!

These are Isabelle's 6 months pics. I included one of the Muppet shots! I got bored of feeding her peas and switched to bananas..thinking for sure she would like these because they are sweet. But she thought they were sour too. She is so weird. I think her taste buds are backwards. So being the wonderful parent that I am I tried the bananas to see if she was making up all this sour business. And guess what...they taste like nothing. They are so mild. So we will keep trying I guess. I think next I am going to feed her sweet potatoes???

Big Weekend!
So it was big weekend. We tried apple juice and peas. Correction Isabelle tried apple juice and peas. She hates apple juice...really hates it. I think she is taking after her Grandma A. When you give it to her she acts like it is the most sour stuff in the world and makes and awful face. I have tried everyday for the past few days and she never likes it. You would think after milk and rice cereal something sweet would be great...guess not! So then we gave her peas. Yes the first food I gave her was peas...don't know why we picked it we just did! We were pretty sure she would hate it if she didn't like apple juice. So we got all ready video camera in hand to capture this great reaction to the peas...and what do we get nothing....she eats them just like she has always been eating peas! So she will eat a few spoonful and then be done...but its a start!
Don't even ask how the sleeping is going. She is not doing well in that department right now. So the past few nights have been trying at best!

Isabelle has a diaper rash today and she seems pretty much pissed off about it. She has been screaming tons today. She will quite for a while and then its like all of a sudden she remembers and gets started up again. So I have been putting tons of stuff(Boudreaux's butt paste...yes that is really what it is called!) on it and she is sleeping now..lets hope it helps FAST......
Great right as I am writing this I can hear her starting to cry in the other room. She has become quite fond of thirty min naps.... I miss the days of her three hour naps!!!
Ok this is pic of her hanging out in her play pen...since she is a traveler now days!

Today was picture day....AGAIN! When I went to get Isabelle out of her crib this morning.....get this...she had a giant red scratch on her forehead. Great!!! Ended up it didn't look to bad in the pictures. She did much better today. She did one really great smile, but of course the photo lady cut her head of fin that picture. Just my luck. Anyway most of the rest she had her tongue sticking out in...but they are super cute, they really show her personality. As soon as they send me the files I will post them for you! Daniel said I was being a high maintenance mom for getting them redone...but if you could see the other ones you would understand...she looked like a muppet in all the pictures!

Then we had to go up to work for a while ( yes I have the worlds hardest job to quite...but I think Cara may find hers harder to quite...we shall see!) She just sat and played in her stroller for a good two hours...everyone was very impressed!

HAPPY 6th Month Birthday Isabelle.

I can't believe its been 6 months!!! Holy Cow it goes by fast!!! Today we took her to get her 6 month pics, and it was a flop! She would not smile no mater what. Three adults making fools of themselves would not get her to smile. She would start to smile and then bite her bottom lip so that she could not smile. It was crazy. She was doing it on purpose. So we are going to try it again on wed to see if we can get her smiling. What a stinker!

Isabelle drank from her sippy cup today!!! She drank a whole two ounces of it before she got bored and was having more fun chewing on the top than drinking from it. I would set it on the table in front of her and she would pick it up by the handles and drink from it. She is so smart. This may be an isolated incident but maybe not! Also the best thing is she has started giving kisses. When you give her a kiss on the cheek she will turn and slobber on your cheek...shes getting the idea. She is super cute if you ask me.
So this week went well with the babysitters. However by Wednesday she caught on to the whole thing. The girls walked in and she started screaming. I thought they weren't supposed to enter into the parental attachment issues phase until later!!!

We are getting a babysitter for this afternoon, so lets all hope this one goes a little better. I can't believe I am going to leave her with another babysitter after last time!!! Everyone say your prayers!
We had a good weekend, I have still been busy trying to get life back to normal after being gone for so long. We took Isabelle to the park to swing and of course she had a blast!!
Oh and the best news of all, we had lost her favorite pacifier (its the one the hospital gives you and for some reason babies love them and you can't buy them any where...my advice if you are having a baby soon, ask if you can have an extra at the hospital) Anyways I found it!!!! It had been lost since Thanksgiving. When you give her a normal pacifier she will only chew on the outside of it (the hard plastic backing) She is just plain weird sometimes!

You can tell she is so very proud of herself for sitting up!!!! So now not only is she sitting up but she is getting better at rolling in all directions and inching her way to what she wants. She has learned the if she puts her head down and then push up on her feet she can move a few inches. So now with all these new talents she has found a great new toy...the stereo. If I look away for a min she will have rolled or inched her way to the stereo and is playing with the buttons on it. I think its time to baby proof the house!!!!
