Well I hope this video works. Its not the most exciting video but its my first attempt!

Isabelle had her first slumber party of sorts! Her friend Elizabeth spent the night since her little brother had to have surgery. So everyone went to bed great and Isabelle was so excited to wake up to a friend. We went to playgroup (yes I got out of the house with 3 kids!) then came home and played in the pool and Isabelles kitchen. They did great!

My little Eliza is getting so big too!!! She is now almost 5 months old can you believe it! At her 4 month check up she was 13lbs! She has made it all the way to the 25% which is up from her 10%! She is my talker for sure. She is always making noise of some sort. She is sleeping 12 hours at night. Which is awesome. She found her thumb and it has been great sleeping since then. My new worry is that she is not rolling over. You know I must always have a worry. So lets all pray she rolls over soon so I can stop stressing about it. She still doens't laugh much but I know she can, so like the Dr. told me its just a personality issue :) We went for a follow up with the neurosurgeon and he said he thinks she is doing well, but he wants us back in 6months for some more Xrays. So I didn't get the great warm fuzzys I wanted but I think she is doing wonderful!

Miss Isabelle is getting so big! She is so much fun right now, and by right now I mean this week! the past few weeks have been pretty rough I think because she is getting 8 teeth right now, but for whatever reason she decided to go back to sweet Isabelle this week!

She can now sing her ABC's all the way though and count to 3 (and know what it means!) I am so proud. You know how I say she is really Cara's kid well its true she loves to sing like her Aunt. She sings all day. She sings the ABC's, the Itsy Bitsy Spider, Ring around the Rosies, all the songs from swim class and my new favorite...she sings "This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and me glad in it" you know that song...she loves it! She calls it the morning song her versions skips a few words but is basically This is the day, Rejoice be glad :) Its so sweet! Oh and don't forget Happy Birthday we sing that ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL DAYYYYYYYY. The other day she was singing it to her Peanut Butter and Jelly!

Ok one more cute story and I will move on. We took her to Build a Bear the other day because she has been so good. Well on the way home she was talking about how the bear was going to take a nap and then we hear from the backseat her saying her prayers with her bear!!!! It went like this Dear Gawd, Mommy, Daddy, baby,....a bunch on mumble, and a loud AMEN! It made us smile all day. Daniel says her prayers with her each night and they do the whole God bless (insert entire family, you know my through husband) so thats why she was just listing names I guess she already knows God knows the desires of your heart!!!!

I am behind on blogging again...go figure. I know I will get better at it someday. So stay tuned for all my catch up post!

Isabelle started her 2nd year of Mothers Day Out (MDO!) We changed to a new school which she is loving, not that she didn't love the other.

Her teachers are Ms. Angela and Ms. Lana so Isabelle refers to them as Ms. Ana. Clever isn't she!

Here is her picture from her first day of school last year and this year. I can't believe how big she is getting!

Ok so be prepared for a lot of blog reading. I was a little behind on all my updates but I think I am now caught up! Things have been a tad hectic.

So for all those that don't know yet. Friday was the single worse day of my/our life and I hope it stays that way and I never have another day like it again. It started off with Isabelle having a stomach bug and Eliza going through a growth spurt meaning she wanted to eat every 10 min and Isabelle was going to the bathroom every 10 min. (In retrospect this was nothing but at the time I was stressed!)
Then about 9 that night we had a horrible freak accident at the house with Eliza falling on the ceramic tile. A sight and sound I am struggling to get out of my head. We ended up calling 911 and we were rushed downtown to the Trauma unit at Memorial Herman. After a CT scan they determined she had a skull fracture and what looked like a small amount of bleeding so we were admitted around midnight. So we spent a very restless night waiting for a pediatric neurosurgeon to come meet with us. Once we meet with him we were very blessed by having all our prayers answered from the night before. He said it was a small fracture in a part of the brain that while not unimportant was not a vital part....... meaning no worries of cognitive problems...... and what they told us the night before was bleeding was really a bruise. Who knew I would ever be thankful that my child had a brain bruise. So after a few more test and xrays we were released late Sat afternoon. God was definitely with us and looking after our precious angle that night and we are so grateful for all of our family and friends that were praying for her that night!

So we are still in a little shell shock over the whole thing. It was like a bad dream you can't wake up from. We spent Sunday pretty much hugging her, holding her, and kissing her until she was annoyed with us!

Isabelle got her two year old pictures done when Hudson did and lets just say he is a much better model then Miss Isabelle. The wonderful people at the picture place were able to get some really good shots of her though. I was more than impressed given her nature to run away every time they tried to get her picture!

My little Isabug had a birthday too..and shes 2! July is a very busy birthday month for us!
She had a puppy dog birthday party which was a lot of fun. I however learned that having a birthday party with a bunch of two year olds in attendance is exhausting!
But all the memories are well worth it. Isabelle got a bunch of fun toys including a play kitchen, a shopping cart for groceries and her beloved cleaning set complete with broom, mop, rubber gloves and sponges!!!!

My little Hud turned one! I am so very proud of him...he was able to eat cake on his bday! Although he really wasn't to impressed. The point was if he wanted to he could eat all the cake he wanted. And for that we are all very thankful.

I can't believe he is a year old. Time flys when your having all the fun. Cara was right when she always told me being and Aunt is super fun. You get to do all the playing and fun stuff!!!!! He had a birthday fiesta which was perfectly pulled off the the hostess with the mostest Cara!

Isabelle and Eliza even wore their fiesta dresses.

My little sister got married can you believe it!!!! She is now a Key! It was a beautiful ceremony at a little chapel in North Texas and can you believe it didn't even rain that day!

Isabelle was the flower girl which was so stressful for me. I had visions of her running screaming down the isle in the middle of the service. She did great! The only thing was she decided 2 seconds before we were to walk down the isle that she wanted to hold my bouquet and that I should old her topiary ball! What ever :) the point was she made it down the isle holding some sort of flowers!!!! (and yes that is her eating the flowers before the wedding began....anything to keep her entertained!)

I just had to share....Here is how Miss Isabelle insisted on eating lunch the other day. Don't you love when they begin to get so opinionated...She just makes me laugh all day!!!!

I love the 4th of July. Its one of my new favorite holidays. We started off with the symphony and a picnic on the hill on July third. The weather turned out nice (aka no rain!)

Then we got up bright and early the next day and Daniel did the thing all good suburban parents do...took the kids to the 4th of July parade. It was AWESOME....even I enjoyed it. I kept talking about it all day long so I am sure everyone got the idea. They had tons of floats. Isabelles favorite were all the ones the blew bubbles and she learned very quickly that they throw out candy!!! And we also got to meet Pooh. You know he is a favorite of ours!!!
My friends Mistie took a bunch of pics so I will post those when I get them.

Then it was off the Almans for Nathans bday festivities! We got to spend some time with the whole fam. Later that night it was off the fireworks which Isabelle loved!!! I was so worried she was going to cry! So all in all it was such a fun day and I can't wait for next year!

Did I mention I found all the kids matching outfits :)

Eliza is 2 month old....Can you believe it!

She is 9lbs 12 oz (25%) and 21 inches (10%) and her head is in the 65%. She is an Alman for sure! We are still trying to figure out this reflux thing..we have our good and bad days. Good thing she is so cute. She is really smiling a lot now.....she is just so much fun! I am still trying to figure out how to get out of the house in under an hour!!!!!

This is a picture of her sucking her tumb at 12 days old! Too cute and then a more recent pic! Enjoy!
